Just lay down on the Whale - Viparita Dandasana Bench. Let the Whale work it's magic. It is perfect for safe, gentle inversions and spinal traction. The Wheel, the Plough and Half Shoulder-stand are all supported by this large backbending arch.

Many variations of traditional poses are possible with the Viparita Dandasana Bench. It is inspired by and created for the practice of Iyengar Yoga and other health oriented practices.

54 inches long from end to end and 16 inches high at its highest point, it is easy to move at about 25 pounds. Plus you can stand it against a wall when it is resting on it's squared off front or bottom ends. It is 16 1/2 inches wide.

A brilliant feature is that it can also be broken into two smaller, lighter pieces by undoing just 4 hex bolts. Once undone the long piece is 36 inches and the short one just 18 inches, for ease of transport.

Of course you will most likely want to keep the Whale assembled where you'll have instant access to the therapeutic benefits.
