Our Values – Respect Yourself, Others and the Earth

OK so here is a chance for me to get up on my soap box. There are way too many companies in America (and elsewhere) who only have one value and that is the dollar. Rather than dwell on the many ways this has made us less trusting and more fearful than we need to be, I just want to announce that Yoga Life Style and any offshoot I am affiliated with will always keep respect for, and the well being of, our customers as our top priorities and goals. We won’t try to sell you things you don’t need or fool you in any way. It is a shame that this sets us apart from other companies and even other vendors in the yoga marketplace but unfortunately, it does.

Furthermore, we explore with each vendor we work with whether they are following all local environmental, labor and safety rules and regulations, including but not limited to, no child labor. Furthermore, as a vegan organization, we don’t source anything that has obvious animal material or labor as part of the product. We look for vegan alternative items when necessary.

We know everyone can have a bad day and sometimes it can be easy to dump difficult feelings out on a vendor you are unhappy with. We are lucky that in the consciousness community there is less of this than in other communities but it still happens. Since we respect ourselves, we don’t require you to. On that day when you take it all out on us, we will try our best to stay in service to you as much as we can. That is part of our job.
