It is one-eighth of an inch of PVC and the same linen blend that is used in the Manduka Black Mat Pro reconfigured to have a unique “orange peel” texture. The bheka Deluxe Long Life Mat Scrap is three-sixteenths of an inch of the same dense PVC. It is ideal for use as a skirt for your meditation cushion in the large 26 x 29-inch size. It will cover more than 40% of most mats. Durable, easy to clean, and lightweight the big size is large enough for cross-legged poses. And for those who want good traction in a smaller band the 14 x 26 size is useful in a narrower area (eg. top of the mat, middle of the mat or bottom of the mat) and 8 x 8 is perfect for spot usage (eg. under a hand, foot, hip, forehead, etc).
