Our bheka Backless Yoga Chair specifically is designed for maximum openness, utility, and strength. The unique cotton wrap on the back of our chairs adds comfort, warmth, and grip.

We purchase high quality chairs from American big box stores and modify them for use in yoga. These chairs assist in the practice of Iyengar Yoga, Continuum Body Movement and other practices requiring a solid platform for practice and maximum freedom of movement. Made from heavy gauge steel, the sturdy support of our Backless Yoga Chair puts some poses into reach that were too uncomfortable or frightening without it.

Our Turtles, Rectangular Bolsters, and Zafus work well with the  Backless Yoga Chair by design. The 16"x16"  Turtle is sized to fit perfectly on this and any standard folding chair. Our round Zafu offers a more traditional seat while the Rectangular bolster has many uses like the supported shoulder stand. The look and feel of cotton wrapping on the back of the chair is reminiscent of the wrap on bicycle handlebars. The Turtle square cushion provides a stable comfortable seat, and raises the hips another 4 inches. The Zafu will give you a slightly higher seat and the BREEZE version converts any hard chair into a "stability ball" chair, at a fraction of the cost.

Clean the painted metal with household cleanser. Treat the wrap as you would upholstery.
Store in a dry place. Lubricating joints is recommended if they stiffen or squeaking occurs.
